BI & Analytics Lead

The work

Lead analytics delivery for delivery programmes: metric definitions executives trust, self-serve boundaries that do not sprawl, and BI layers wired to tested warehouse models. Public examples stay aggregated and anonymised.

You will

• Own metric catalogues and resolve conflicting dashboard definitions across teams
• Set standards for BI tooling (Looker, Metabase, Power BI, or client choice) on top of dbt marts
• Coach analysts and engineers on when to build a model vs when to answer ad hoc
• Align reporting cadence with experimentation and eval readouts without double-counting outcomes

You likely have

• 8+ years across analytics, BI, or data leadership roles with warehouse-native stacks
• Strong SQL and experience governing metrics in multi-team environments
• Ability to push back on vanity KPIs and undocumented “single source of truth” claims
• Comfort presenting uncertainty and data quality limits to non-technical stakeholders
